Electric car rally

Tomorrow there is an electric car rally.

Car: 1993 Geo Metro Manual 2 door
Conversion time: some work most weekends for 3 months
First driven as electric: Jan 27th 2008
Motor: ES-15A Series Motor 40 HP Peak - 12 HP Cont.
Batteries: Hi-power Lithium LIFEPO4 100 amp hour 72 volt capacity 7 KW hours
Range: 30 miles

Drive train uses existing manual transmission with no clutch.

Green Energy Oulet, http://www.gogeogo.com had thier grand opening on Saturday. The local paper showed up and ended up putting a picture of me and the Geo in the Sunday paper.

Work on new charger for lithium pack

I wired up and tested the voltage on thepower supplies I got in from China. I was able to adjust the voltage to the corrct level with the power supplies wired in series.
